After her appaerence on Good Morning America, Khloe Kardashian Odom headed at the ”Generation Knows” launch in New York City on January 31st. As she was a victim of bully, she cares about supporting teen-agers who aren’t sure and happy of who they are.
She said: ‘We’re all our own worst critics and so hard on ourselves, but for me, my biggest insecurity is my arms. I just hate the tops of them. I workout and they still never look good enough for me.’ And Khloe added that she became much more confident about the way she looks when she finally realised just how to dress. She said: ‘It’s not like I’m eating donut after donut – I exercise and try to eat right, but dressing for my body type is key. I used to follow trends and try to do exactly what I saw in the magazines, but I’m not a Victoria’s Secret model who can wear anything. That says dressing for your body type comes with trial and error, but I know how to do it now.’
Speaking on Good Morning America earlier in the day, Khloe had explained that she hoped Generation Know would help girls who were too embarrassed to ask questions.
‘When I was a teenager, I didn’t have anybody to go to ask, you know, the things that you’re embarrassed about,’ she explained. ‘Or that you might feel uncomfortable asking anybody.’ And Khloe said she hoped the campaign would help people like her younger sisters Kendall and Kylie. She said: ‘If they don’t want to ask me something, I direct them [to the website] - I have to say, that you pretty much bust every myth. And talk about every off-limits topic.’
While Khloe herself may be well informed about her body, she has been open about her issues with infertility.
‘I’ve been open and honest about it,’ – she explained. - ‘Kimberly is the one that made me go to the doctor and check my body. And figure out what was wrong, if anything.’
